Why Use MT940 Format?
- MT940 Format:
The MT940 format is crucial for financial management as it standardizes the representation of bank account statements, making it easier for companies to access detailed transaction data. This format is particularly beneficial for automated reconciliation processes, enabling seamless integration with accounting systems while minimizing manual errors.
Steps to Download the Account Statement
- Log in to your Expensya account.
- From the Admin tab, go to Payment menu, Bank Accounts submenu
- Go to the Expensya Cards Accounts tab
- Click on one of the bank accounts listed and go to Account Statements tab
- You will find the list of the monthly financial statements
- Click on the Download button and choose the desired option among the list. The default format displayed is PDF therefore you should click on MT940 to receive the file in the correct format.
- Click the Download button. The statement will then be generated and sent by email.
