The difference between "Full Sync" user import and default manual user import

Default Manual Import

Manual import allows the tenant account administrator to add or update users at any time from the web version of Expensya.

  1. Go to the Administration section.
  2. Access the Users menu.
  3. Click on the Import button.
  4. Download the template file from the Download template file option.

You can activate or deactivate a user by indicating their status in the import file (activated or deactivated).

If a specific user is absent from the file, their status in the system will remain unchanged and they will not be deactivated.

For more details, you can consult the article dedicated to this functionality through this link.
Automatic Import (Full Sync)

Automatic import, also called Full Sync, is a customized synchronization configured according to the specific needs of the customer. This import is automatically triggered by the system.

  • Only changes concerning users present in the import file are applied.
  • In case of an error (incorrect special characters, duplicate email addresses, etc.), the system partially processes the import and indicates the errors encountered.
  • Any user not present in the import file will be deactivated unless the "Update this user’s information during automatic import?" option has been disabled in the user's profile.
  • If a user is absent from the file, their information will not be modified, but they will be deactivated unless a specific configuration prevents it.
